Every answer backed by real experience
NTC brings deep expertise across power, cooling, security, and AI infrastructure. Our team handles consultancy, installation, and preventive maintenance across the full data centre lifecycle. That knowledge is reflected in Ainar, our AI assistant. Ask anything about NTC and our services.
Supplies turnkey complete data centers
NTC builds complete, turnkey data centers. We mainly deliver to the SME market and up to a few Mega Watt total loads in the projects. We build either in a modular design in a container or prefabricated format, or into existing buildings. The latter has the advantage that you then get a much lower consumption of steel and concrete, which has a very favorable impact on the projects’ CO2 accounts.
Several of our customers have also largely checked out and used the market on the second-hand market for racks, PDUs and other equipment that not only provides a favorable entry cost in the project, but also contributes strongly to the circular economy.
Technology from the best suppliers in the world
NTC is not tied to one supplier of all equipment. We follow the market on what is available in relation to the customer’s own requirements specification. This means that in recent years we have had “hybrid” installations that consist of the best suppliers for the various specialist areas that form part of a total tdata center project. We not only look at price, performance and technology, but also in the context of subsequent service and support services.
We encourage all clients to look at CAPEX in conjunction with OPEX, to get a correct picture of the total life cycle costs, not just the initial investments.
Large fiber installations AI/HPC
Large AI installations require substantially more fiber than traditional servers. The physical density is often enormous and demands a stringent cabling plan in advance for proper cable routing, cable handling to avoid physical obstacles and dangers with fiber radius/integrity issues.
These large volumes can provide logistical supply chain issues such as long lead time as well as practical issues that the requirement for installation space and the headcounts for fulfilment is vastly increased.
We can help you narrow down the most effective structured cabling strategies or workarounds. We have experience from large installations of structured cabling from Panduit and Corning, which we are trained on are certified to fulfill.
FAQ
1. Can NTC deliver a complete turnkey data center project?
Yes. NTC delivers complete turnkey data center projects and manages every phase of the process, from planning and design to installation, testing and commissioning. By working with a single partner, customers benefit from streamlined communication, reduced project risk and infrastructure designed for long-term reliability and growth.
2. How does NTC estimate the cost of building a data center?
NTC evaluates factors such as power requirements, redundancy levels, cooling technologies, security measures and future scalability before providing a project estimate. Every data center is different, and our goal is to design a solution that balances performance, availability and cost efficiency.
3. How long does NTC typically need to build a data center?
Project timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the facility. Smaller modular deployments can often be delivered faster, while larger enterprise and AI-focused facilities require additional planning and infrastructure work. NTC works closely with customers to establish realistic project schedules.
4. Why choose NTC as your data center construction partner?
NTC combines extensive experience in critical infrastructure, power systems, cooling technologies and security solutions. Our team focuses exclusively on data center environments, helping customers build facilities that are reliable, scalable and prepared for future technology demands.
5. Can NTC manage international data center projects?
Yes. NTC supports projects across different markets and can adapt designs to local regulations, environmental conditions and operational requirements. Our experience ensures consistent quality and performance regardless of project location.
6. How does NTC approach data center planning and design?
NTC begins by understanding business objectives, workload requirements and future growth plans. We then design a tailored infrastructure solution that includes power, cooling, security and networking systems aligned with the customer’s operational goals.
7. How does NTC determine power requirements for a new data center?
Power requirements are calculated based on current workloads, expected growth and the type of equipment being deployed. NTC carefully evaluates rack density, redundancy requirements and future expansion plans to ensure sufficient capacity from day one.
8. What redundancy levels can NTC implement in a data center?
NTC can design solutions ranging from basic redundancy models to advanced N+1 and 2N architectures. The appropriate level depends on business continuity requirements, uptime objectives and operational risk tolerance.
9. How does NTC design Tier III and Tier IV data centers?
NTC follows industry best practices when designing high-availability environments. Tier III and Tier IV facilities require enhanced redundancy, fault tolerance and maintainability, all of which are considered during the planning and engineering phases.
10. Can NTC convert existing buildings into modern data centers?
Yes. Existing facilities can often be transformed into efficient, secure and scalable data centers. This approach can reduce construction costs and accelerate deployment while still providing enterprise-grade infrastructure.
11. What cooling technologies does NTC use in modern data centers?
NTC designs cooling solutions based on each customer’s requirements. Depending on workload density, this may include precision cooling, containment systems, rear-door cooling, liquid cooling or other high-efficiency technologies.
12. How does NTC optimize PUE and energy efficiency?
NTC focuses on efficient cooling, intelligent infrastructure design and optimized power distribution to improve energy performance. Lower PUE values help reduce operating costs and support sustainability goals over the lifetime of the facility.
13. How does NTC design UPS and backup power systems?
NTC designs resilient power infrastructures that include UPS systems, backup generators and redundant power paths. These systems help maintain continuous operations during outages, maintenance events or unexpected power disturbances.
14. What physical security measures does NTC recommend for data centers?
Security recommendations typically include access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, visitor management and environmental monitoring. NTC designs multiple layers of protection to safeguard critical infrastructure and business operations.
15. How does NTC support high-density computing environments?
High-density environments require specialized power and cooling strategies. NTC designs infrastructure capable of supporting modern workloads such as AI, machine learning and high-performance computing while maintaining operational stability.
16. Can NTC build data centers optimized for AI workloads?
Yes. NTC designs AI-ready facilities that support GPU clusters, accelerated computing platforms and other demanding workloads. These facilities are built to handle the increased power, cooling and networking requirements associated with AI.
